Back In The Picture is built for private, respectful family keepsakes. It is not intended for deception, impersonation, non-consensual imagery, or public misuse.
The product combines one user-supplied portrait with one user-supplied group photo. It is not a face-replacement service and must not be used to replace identities, fabricate evidence, or create misleading media.

Permitted use
- Personal family keepsakes using photos you own or have permission to use.
- Memorial or remembrance images created respectfully for private family review.
- Private albums, family sharing, and personal prints where the edited nature of the image is not used to deceive.
Prohibited use
- Using photos without permission, legal rights, or appropriate family or guardian consent.
- Impersonation, identity deception, fraud, harassment, blackmail, or claiming an edited image is documentary proof of an event.
- Deepfakes, face-swap deception, face manipulation intended to mislead, or any edited image used to impersonate someone.
- Public figures, politicians, celebrities, or private individuals used for misleading, defamatory, sexual, or non-consensual content.
- NSFW, explicit, sexually suggestive, nude, sexual, sexualized-minor, abuse, exploitation, graphic violence, hate, extremist, or unlawful material.
- Attempts to bypass safety checks, payment controls, account limits, or content moderation.
Enforcement and reporting
We may block generations, remove content, restrict accounts, or contact users when activity appears to violate this policy. To report misuse, email support@backinthepicture.com.
